May is Affordable Housing Month

Our communities are stronger when we all have a safe, stable, affordable place to call home, no matter our race or income. We all rely on one another to make our community work: From the store clerks who sell us our groceries; to the bus drivers who gets us to and from work and school; to the teachers who care for our children ; and the home care workers who care for our parents.

It’s for this precise reason that our region has come together to champion for housing solutions. Across the Bay Area, residents have identified housing affordability as a number one issue. Already, voters have come together to pass a number of critical affordable housing measures to re-invest in our communities. This May, a wide variety of groups are coming together to build on this momentum, create new opportunities for ahead, and celebrate the work that goes into creating a vibrant, diverse, affordable Bay Area.

We hope you’ll join us.

“The Bay Area is shifting from ‘housing crisis’ to ‘housing solutions,’ but we need you to join the movement and help us keep up our momentum of progress.”
