Satellite Affordable Housing Associates is hosting a groundbreaking event for a new affordable family housing community in the City of Albany. The development will be a four story, new-construction building with 62 apartments of housing for families, including 19 apartments set aside for households experiencing homelessness. Construction began in December 2022 so attendees will be able to see a development in the early stages of construction. Come join us in celebrating the largest affordable housing development to be built in Albany!

The event will be held at Peggy Thomsen Pierce Street Park which overlooks the project site and has beautiful views of San Francisco Bay. The event will be wheelchair accessible, and will be held outside so masking is optional.

There is street parking available in the community. The event is also within 0.5 miles from the San Pablo/Solano Ave stop of AC Transit Bus Routes 72 and 72R.
