In March 2020, The Unity Council purchased a 26,500 SF multi-parcel site along International Blvd and between 27th Ave and Mitchell St in the San Antonio neighborhood of Oakland. The site is improved with 2 three-story fully occupied office buildings that provide a total of 21 office suites. 

The Unity Council plans to demolish the existing buildings and newly construct a mixed-use project featuring 75 units of permanently affordable housing for households earning up to 60% AMI, including 22 supportive housing units for formerly homeless veterans, ground floor commercial space, and a podium parking garage with 33 parking spaces for residential and commercial use. Additional on-site amenities include a large courtyard with play area, and community gardens, laundry, a community room, as well as property management and resident services offices.
